v0.1_4 (Release Date: When Fundraiser is Complete)-
- BETA Initial Release.
v0.1_2 (Released 11/11/2012, Pre-Version)-
- Temporarily removed GFXs, Cheatcode implimentation, Hi-Score tracker, and Viewable update log due to restrictions of the free version of the game engine used.
- (Completing the fundraiser will re-impliment these back into the game)
- Adding loading screen before Stage begins.
- Added Castle Defense actions into Stage 1.
v0.1_3 (Released 11/12/2012, Current Version)-
- Changes to sprites within the game, to make it all fit the style rather than all of them have different styles.
- Ability to plant bombs and set them to detonate when you please. You will only be able to plant one bomb at a time, once you detonate your current bomb you will be able to place a new one. More information on how this works will be provided in the Instructions page.
- The size of the game screen will be increased to quite some extent. If you are one of those who have small computer screens, when the options are re-released in a future update you will be able to adjust the screen size to fit your screen.
- We will be introducing a new part of the game, called abilities. The first one introduced in this update is called Shock-wave, when activated will cause a circle wave to shoot out from the player and damage all enemies surrounding them. Like all future abilities, this will have a cool-down timer . This ability specifically will take 7 seconds to cool-down.
- Now at the top of the page during game-play a timer is displayed. This can be used for people to have competitions on who has finished the stage in the least amount of time by taking screen shots of when the stage complete message appears (just an idea). When this update is in place and you wan't to get on the home page for fastest time, please email me the photo @ [email protected] (And please no faking pictures, I can tell when they are edited). In a future release, I will make the ability to post your time on a highscores table on the website in a future release, but as of this time it isn't possible for personal reasons.
- The password required in the v0.1_2 is different then what I emailed all the accepted entries, this version will fix that problem.
v0.1_4 (Release Date: When Fundraiser is Complete)-
- A new ability will be replacing Shock-wave this update, called Electric blast (Small). This ability will have the effect that when used, a small lightning blast will constantly be shot out of the players gun (a short distance from the players gun) and zap to death anything in its range for 2 seconds before the lightning depletes. This ability will have a cool-down timer of 10 seconds.
- Now when you detonate a spawned bomb and you happen to be near the explosion you will be killed instantly, this was intended to be added with the bomb release in the first place.
- The weapon level has been removed and will be replaced with a new system in a future release. In that case, the speed of the bullet when shot is increased by x5 in speed to compensate for the removal.
- A nice decorative landscape has been placed around the castle just to make it look more fancier, the Castle itself has also received a size upgrade.
- The 'Stage Complete!' text now simply appears above the Abilities HUD when the stage is complete rather than following you and being an annoyance.
- The login screen has been removed for the time being until we have a stable username/password system in affect (most likely once the fundraiser is complete). Therefore, you will automatically be admitted to the Main screen (Where you see the play button, etc.) once you load the game. This also means that any one of the public has access to play the Beta now, I understand that, but its for the better of the game at this time, thanks for the understanding.
- A warning message pops up when you attempt to do an ability and it is not yet cooled down.
- You can play a survival mode version of stage 1, which means you will constantly fight the monsters (a new one spawns each second) until you die or until the end of time. When in Survival mode, a display will show near the button how many monsters you have killed total. Another simple way to find out your total kills is by diving your score by 100, but this update will make that un-necessary to do.
